I know christmas is a long way off, but i heard managers breifly talking about christmas co-ordinators. I got thinkning about the deposits for parties. I thought that a christmas deposit could be charged to a gift card. Obviously different deposits would be charged differently and each card would be unique. This means that gift cards can be swiped through machines allowing bills to be sorted even quicker.This it also promotes the idea of gift cards too by the fact more people will be using them and may attract more attention to them.
It is only a thought, but one that may come in handy.

We definitely do want to promote gift cards and will consider you proposal.
It may not be perfect for Xmas as we want to ensure that people do turn up for deposited bookings ( they could use a gift card anytime !!).
