posted by FRiDOiD patricia biringi, working as a Host at the T.G.I. Friday's London Covent Garden restaurant

hi karen my name is patricia i recently applied for three jobs to work as a waitress in T.G.I Fridays but i found out from my friend that i would work as a waitress or serving assistant because am not over 18 and 16 now but in two months i will be 17 but i could work as a host, so i was wondering if the manager calls me to offer me a job can i change from being a waitress to host. thanks for taking your time to read this and i would appreciate it if you would get back to me.

Hi Patricia! If there are vacancies available for Hosts and the manager agrees you have the right skill set to complete this role now, this would be a great move for you to ‘learn the ropes’ of our operation and then potentially you can cross-train to be a Waitress once you reach 18. This is a classic way in which members of our team GROW with our Friday’s family. Best of luck!

Karen
